Iloko is spoken my some 8 - 10 million folks in the Ilocandia region of the Philippines and elsewhere. It is also one of the official languages of the Province of La Union. So, why isn't it more prevalent in software? Other languages with fewer speakers have gain recognition and protection. Why NOT Iloko? This blog was created in hopes of changing that and preserving the language of my fore-bearers for generations to come.
